A Lifetime of Adventure

"Why sit on the sidelines, relegated to watching others on television out there having all the fun simply because I am too fearful to travel?

Greetings, and welcome. We asked ourselves that question years ago, and the answer was clear. We would give up some things thought by our society to be necessities and we would see the world.

And we have. We have been around the world several times, up and down, over there and here, as well. Short trips of two to eight weeks. 48 countries, some several times. African continent, four times. What we have discovered is that if one is willing to risk, one can have the adventure of a lifetime.

Adventure Travel? Don't get us wrong, we are not the type to jump out of airplanes, though we have considered it. However, the comment we consistently get from friends, relatives, colleagues, and acquaintances is, " I would love to travel like you do, but ___________(fill in the blank.)

So why this blog? We want to assist others in having a wonderful life: traveling, learning, sharing, experiencing.

Again, welcome, and come back when you can.

Experienced traveler or newbie, join us, and lets help each other learn more about "

Great,Karen

We just toured a model home that Laura's niece, who wed last night, participated with the interior design. Some nice pieces, but not our style! Love to see your home. Bet we will not think it eccentric, or else we will like it because it is!
