Pictures of Leopard on the Hunt! Awesome experience with Mike the Safari Man !

Leopard on the Hunt! Awesome experience with Mike the Safari Man !

We were about to find a place for a "sundowner" where you get out of the vehicle and watch the sunset. Yikes!

As we road along the dirt park road we spied a game viewing vehicle stopped on the side of the road. They had spotted a leopard that was almost impossble to see in the grass, even with great sunlight. Ibises were circling loudly near the ground making their strange calls, but we just could not make out the leopard! Finally it got up and began hunting. We pulled along side them and they silently mouthed, "Leopard."

Dear Karen
Thanks for taking the time to comment, expecially after reading what all you have been doing lately.

Hope you guys have recovered from your beautiful trip and your "back to business" shocks.

We hesitate to leave here since it is a most amazing place for living among wildlife, but leave we must eventually. We had planned 30 days, and that number is approaching. We will see.

We hope to see you guys for sunset in Kasane, perhaps within the next two weeks! Will you be around for a while?

Hi again.. yes, we are here - not moving for a couple of months, after all our crazy rushing around! Coincidentally our friend Michelle will also be here (you met her last time you were in Kasane). it's her first return visit since Aug 2007, as well! We must get together for a sundowner or two!! See you soon :)

Oh my, you were in Mfuwe! I wonder if you met my brother Vic? And have you found my nieces` blogs - The times of Miranda, and Fleeing Muses? Both girls were raised in Mfuwe and Kapani and consider this place their home! And it IS lovely, isn´t it?? Say hi to Karen for me, too (from Angela). The world sure is small.
